Thank you for visiting my website. I am an Edinburgh based freelance photographer, specialising in architectural and interiors photograph. I studied Architecture and worked as an architect for several years, before switching to photography. 
 
Photography has been a passion for many years, and I have learned a lot through experimenting in different types. Photography to me is about storytelling, not simply what's there but how light and people interact with and around spaces, as well as how buildings are placed within a wider urban context.

My photography focuses on light and shadows, how they interact with each other as well as photographic subject, whether that's buildings, people, animals or objects. 

When taking an image, the way a space is used is key, so I often try to show life in architectural photography.

I enjoy the process of taking analogue photographs, allowing me to slow down, understand what I'm taking a picture of, and be patient until I develop the film to see the result. I find the process exciting.

As a person of many hobbies, I love to bake, travel, cinema and lino printing. I am often inspired by the photography direction in movies and appreciate the work that goes into storytelling through them.
